HAZWOPER 8/24/40 TRAINING

LETS Reach, Inc. can provide all levels of training for companies and individuals involved Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response operations. Our staff has over 20 years of combined industry experience.

The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) applies to any employees who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances — including hazardous waste — and who are engaged operations as specified by CFR 1910.120(a)(1)(i-v) and 1926.65(a)(1)(i-v).

One-Day Course

Who Should Attend?
This class is intended for individuals who have previously completed the initial 24 hour or 40 hour HAZWOPER certification and have remained current with their annual refresher training.
 
HAZWOPER 24
Three-Day Course

Who Should Attend?
This class is intended for individuals who occasionally visit temporary disposal and waste sites with minimal contact and are unlikely to be exposed over the permissible and published exposure limits.
 
HAZWOPER 40
Five-Day Course

Who Should Attend?
This class is intended for individuals who will be working as HAZMAT Technicians or HAZMAT Specialist and will be involved in hazardous substance removal and activities that could expose them to hazardous substances and various health hazards.


Confined Space Entry/Rescue Services

Confined space rescue is a subsection of technical rescue operations that involves the rescue and recovery of victims trapped in a confined space or in a place only accessible through confined spaces, such as underground vaults, storage silos, storage tanks, or sewers. Confined space rescues can be technically challenging due to the environment in which they occur.

One-Day Course
Who Should Attend?
This class is intended for individuals who will be involved in the supervision, entry and or rescue of persons in confined spaces. In this course, students will be taught rescue techniques, rope handling, knot tying and spine board/sked packaging. In addition to those skills, students will be taught the roles and duties of confined space entry supervisor, attendant and entrant.


SEMS 2 Awareness Training

The SEMS (Safety Environment Management Systems) is a nontraditional, performance-focused tool for integrating and managing offshore operations. The purpose of SEMS is to enhance the safety of operations by reducing the frequency and severity of accidents.

One-Day Course
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for contract workers that participate in offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico. This power packed course will cover topics such as:

  • • The purpose of SEMS
  • • Events leading to the regulation
  • • The 13 elements of SEMS
  • • Requirements for contractors under SEMS
  • • The importance of knowing the contents of a facility SEMS plan and applying them on the job
  • • How to speak effectively with regulatory agency personnel about SEMS and the importance of safety
  • • The new requirements of SEMS II

PEC Core Compliance

The Core Compliance training program will ensure your employees are trained in the safety topics commonly required by operators in their pre-qualification surveys and training matrices. Based on accepted industry practices supported and recommended by operators, PEC Core Compliance is the most comprehensive and cost effective way to meet the entry level safety training needs your customer and government are calling for.

Three-Day Course
Course Objectives:
This three day course is designed to teach employees the principles of behavioral based safety. We also cover common safety topics that are in compliance with OSHA and the CFR. Upon completion of the course, each student will receive a PEC photo ID, certificate of completion, and each student’s information is entered into the online PEC Training Tracker database. Students, employees, and customers can verify an individual’s Core Compliance status at PECCard.com.


SafeLandUSA

SafeLandUSA is a volunteer organization comprised of major and independent operating companies, industry associations, and educators with the purpose of developing a standardized orientation which sets minimum requirements for the US Onshore E&P Industry.

One-Day Course
Course Objectives:
SafeLandUSA was designed as a safety orientation to give employees a general awareness of safety concerns in the oil and gas industry. This one-day course meets operator and BSEE requirements for safety training. Upon completion of this course, each student will receive a PEC photo ID, certificate of completion, and each student’s information is entered into the online PEC Training Tracker database. Students, employees, and customers can verify an individual’s SafeLandUSA status at PECCard.com.


SafeGulf

SafeGulf is a volunteer organization comprised of major and independent operating companies, industry associations, and educators with the purpose of developing a standardized orientation which sets minimum requirements for the US Offshore E&P Industry.

One-Day Course
Course Objectives:
This program meets OSHA and BSEE requirements and provides a basic understanding at an awareness level of certain general safety information that an employee should know before entering a company facility and while performing their assigned work duties. Upon completion of this course, each student will receive a PEC photo ID, certificate of completion, and each student’s information is entered into the online PEC Training Tracker database. Students, employees, and customers can verify an individual’s SafeGulf status at PECCard.com.
