Industrial, Mechanical, Process, Aptitude Curriculum Training (IMPACT) was designed to help individuals seeking employment in the Petrochemical or Petroleum industry prepare for the very challenging Industrial Aptitude Battery Testing (IABT) exam. This test has been made mandatory by all of the industry leaders and must be passed to be considered for employment.
We train individuals on the testing strategies and theories of the test taking in the major areas of testing. There are three major areas of testing on the IABT that companies require high scores in. These areas are Workplace Attitude and Behavior Inventory, Mechanical Aptitude Assessment and Industrial Information.
Our IMPACT program covers each area of the IABT in detail. It has been compared by many, to the ASVAB and ACT preparation classes. For some students, test taking can be a challenging experience. Knowing what to expect can help reduce test taking anxiety. It is our goal to give students a first-hand look at the testing protocol and information. Our training affords students the opportunity to be familiar with the test questions and format in addition to obtaining the basic knowledge and preparation for taking the IABT.
